Well, we too are located at the Fort Complex just a couple of steps away from the Main Gate. You can reach us by taking a cab or by requesting a pick-up or drop (extra charges apply).

Payment & Bookings

We also accept domestic payments through UPI and several mobile wallets. Easy monthly installments (EMI) can also be availed by our domestic customers.

We process all refunds for duplicate bookings or for cancelled bookings within 24 hours on recieving an email from the customer or the payment gateway partner and the same should reflect back into your account within 7 working days (depending on your bank & the mode of payment).
Generally we don't have any hidden charges, but additional cost is applicable only if you choose to have meals where it is not mentioned or you wish to have a non-vegetarian meal. You will also have to pay for any alcoholic drinks that you order.
Moroever, if you wish to explore a few more things that are not mentioned in the package, then an addtional charge may follow, but we will always inform you about the same.

Yes, you are free to modify the dates for the camel safari or jeep safari packages and we'll be glad to assist you with that.
However, modifying dates for desert camps, taxi service & photo shoot is subject to availability and it follows the cancellation policy of the camp, cab driver or the photographer, which is beyond our policies. We will still try to negotiate on your behalf and see what best can be done, but we won't assure you of a refund.
there will be no refund in case of a sand storm or bad weather. However, you are free to modify the dates accordingly.
Camel Safari
The camel safari includes transfers from Jaislamer to the dunes & vice versa, freshly-prepared vegetarian meals, a night stay, access to our guest house and free transportation.
We have a policy of one camel per person, except in the camel safari with cultural programme, the one with a Swiss tent & honeymoon safaris. You might also have to share a camel in case you are travelling with children below the age of 4 years. You might want to share a camel with a child between the age of 4-6, but that is entirely at your sole discretion.
We follow an off-the-beaten track to completely remote and non-touristic dunes. However, in the safari with a cultural programme, you will go to Sam Sand Dunes which is a popular tourist attraction.
We will offer you free pick-up service from your hotel/guest house on the day of your safari — just let us know your hotel name or arrival time. We can also arrange a pickup from any hotel outside the fort otherwise the starting point is the Trotters Office. Kindly note: The pick-up or the reporting time is half an hour before the scheduled start of your safari.
We will cook fresh vegetarian meals, i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner, chai/coffee and snacks depending on your departure / arrival time. You will also be provided with adequate bottled water. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Yes, we do serve alcoholic drinks on request, but that will be at an additional cost (the cost of the beer + a nominal convinience charge).
Usually we will form a group from the guests who book for a particular day, but if you’d prefer a private trip – riding and camping away from other guests – this can be arranged for free, provided you are a minimum of two people. Please let us know about this at the time of booking. Note: You may have to share a jeep with other customers unless you wish to pay for a private jeep.
We will offer you proper, clean and comfortable bedding for overnight tours like sleeping bags/mattresses and plenty of blankets. However, you are welcome to bring a sleeping bag if you have one, but it isn’t required. You might want to sleep in a camping tent, but that will be at an additional cost.
We have campfires during the winters, but not during the summers as the light from the campfire attracts a lot of insects, flies and other small creatures.
The best thing to do while travelling is to choose your clothes smartly for a great experience.
We suggest you to wear a long-sleeved shirt and long comfortable trousers. you may also choose to carry sunglasses, sunhat & a scarf.
During the winters, we would recommend you to carry a warm jacket or a shawl for the mornings & the evenings.
We suggest you to carry hand sanitizers or soaps for optimum hygiene. Paper soaps are preferred, but please don't litter around. you may also choose to carry your own set of toilet paper or wipes, but please bag-and-bin after using them so that they can be disposed off in an eco-friendly way.
You may carry a power bank, as there is no way of charging your electronic peripherals. You can also choose to carry a nice camera to click some amazing pictures. However, we would advise you to be very careful with the electronic equipment as the sand can easily enter the device.
We suggest you to please bring any medication you might need. We don’t recommend wearing contact lenses as very fine sand can easily get through them. So, kindly bring your prescription glasses instead.
Yes, we do offer a secure luggage storage at our office and you can use our guesthouse facilities for showering and resting both before & after your safari.
No, there are no additional charges till the time you don't want to upgrade your safari, opt for non-vegetarian meals or alcoholic beverages.
We suggest giving a small tip to the camel man to boost their morale. However, it is entirely upto you.

Generally two guests are allowed in a Swiss tent. A child below 5 years can stay for free while children above 5 years to 12 years are charged at Rs 1500 per child. And anyone above 12 years is charged at Rs. 3000.
Yes, the stay in the desert camp comes coupled with a camel ride on the sand dunes (2 people share a camel).

Likewise, alll adventure activities in jaisalmer carry some amount of risk, but they are performed in a closed environment using proper safety gear by the help of highly experienced & trained professionals, thereby making it comparatively safer.

Moreover, all the parking tickets, toll tax and the entry tickets to the attractions mentioned in the package are included in the price.
The fuel during motorbike and scooty tours is not included with the package.
It is entirely your wish to do shopping and no one can force you for that. However, you may choose to buy some handicrafts to help boost the morale of the local craftsmen.

Taxi Services
On booking an taxi, we will share the details of the cab driver with you a day before your arrival or departure. We assure you that our cab drivers are highly punctual, well-mannered and experienced drivers. So, rest assured, that you will be traveling safely.
The price of the cab transfer is inclusive of the driver fee, fuel expenses, toll tax and the parking fee. So you need not pay anything extra except from any tips that you may give the driver for his service.
Firstly the cars are new and well-maintained. But in case, the car still encounters an issue, we will either get it repaired or arrange an alternate car (whatever takes less time).
No, the meals are not included in the cab transfers and can be taken at an additional cost.
Yes, you are free to modify the dates for the transfers, provided you inform us 24 hours prior to your arrival or departure.

Eco-Farm Stay: You are requested to be carefully while descending dewn towards the lake. We also recommend you not to go too close to the lake as you might get stuck in quicksand on the banks of the lake.
Village Tour: You are free to click pictures and to interact with the lcoals, but please do not litter around in the village. Moroever, please don;t expect luxurious amenities in the vilage, as you will be living just like a local villager of the Thar Desert.
Cullinary Tour: You are requested to kindly throw the waste in the designated bins and not to litter around. The cullinary tour is best taken on foot, but you may also choose to opt for a motorbike ride or a scooty ride (but at an additional cost).
Temple Trail: You are requested to take off your shoes/slippers/sandals and your leather belts before entering any religious temple. Moreover, it is a good thing to wash your hands with water before entering any religious temple. We also advice you to stay together so as to avoid being left out in the crowd at peak hours or on special occasions.
Picnic in the Desert: You are requested to respect the cenotaphs and hence do not litter or pee in those areas around the lake. Moreover, you are also requested to avoid entering the water body and to dispose off the waste in the designated bins only.

No, it is not mandatory till the time the Government does not make it mandatory.
However, if the Government makes it mandatory. Then, we do need a recent RT-PCR report to ensure the safety of other co-travellers and our staff. If you do not have a recent test report, we might ask you to get one from the nearest hospital or a self Covid Test from a local pharmacy.
