We are Trotters, a small local travel agency in Jaisalmer which was founded by late Del Boy in 1990.
A little about us!
Having our roots in the travel industry for more than 30 years, we are proudly run and managed by the villagers from the desert who believe in offering the highest standards of hospitality.
Being villagers from the Thar Desert, we know the in & out of the desert and this helps us in providing a wonderful, raw travel experience. What differentiates us from the others is that we love our camels and value our guests. Our team of cameleers, local guides, camp staff and jeep drivers work day in & day out to provide you the best experience possible.
Over the years we have evolved and partnered with various reliable, like-minded travel companions who aim at sharing the same travel experience with others. This has enabled us to offer a completely unique travel experience ranging from a simple sightseeing tour to complex camel safaris, from a simple stay in a hotel to an exotic stay in a luxurious desert camp, from arranging a simple pre-wedding shoot in the dunes to complex destination weddings, we do it all.
And most important of all, we are always willing to walk an extra mile to keep you happy and satisfied.

While on a camel safari, we take you to the most remote parts of the desert on an off-the-beaten-track and we guarantee fresh & delicious food, plenty of bottled water, warm bedding, professional English-speaking guides and a personal camel.
We love our camels and take the utmost care of them to ensure that they are both healthy and happy. We also love and respect the environment, and we endeavor to minimize the impact on the desert landscape. We ensure that all the waste is brought back to Jaisalmer after every trip, where plastic and glass is recycled.
Well that's about the camel safari, apart from that, we have partnered with some of the finest properties in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur to offer you a splendid stay. Not only that, we have a team of friendly, well-experienced & professional guides and taxi drivers to enhance your travel experience in the best way possible.

We believe in the 'One Family' policy and hence we abide by our duty to follow all Covid Safety Measures to safeguard you, your loved ones & those who are working with us.
Community Involvement!
Being a local of the Thar Desert, we understand the hardships faced by the people in the desert, so the idea of founding Trotters was to provide these people with a good normal lifestyle that they deserve. Hence, we are powered by the people from the Thar Desert.
The communities they come from are decidedly impoverished, and they all lack piped water and suffer regular power outages. Most people rely on farming in an area regularly stricken by drought and hence a life without a regular income is a challenge for them. We at Trotters, are giving them helping hand by providing them with regular employment, paying them fair wages and hence supporting their entire families.
The literacy rate and the healthcare facilities are also very poor in the region, so we took the initiative and are pleased to report that all the children of our staff members, cameleers, and our jeep drivers can now attend school, something unheard of just a generation or two ago.
We are thankful to you for travelling with us and for giving us an opportunity to give back to the local community, which has not only made a huge impact on reducing poverty but has also supported their entire families.
