Overview
Our Overnight Camel Safari – 4D option has been designed to offer an enhanced experience of the desert life by allowing you to witness an enchanting sunset, sunrise, a night in the desert and a long camel ride.
This safari gives you an opportunity to explore the topography of the desert by taking you through a wide variety of landscape and it also offers an opportunity to sleep in a warm & cozy bedding under the star-lit sky.
Before heading to the dunes, you’ll be visiting Khaba and a natural oasis which is also the source of water for various birds, animals and local villagers.
Itinerary
Day 1
- The camel safari departs at around 1:30 PM from Jaisalmer by jeep .
- On the way to the dunes, you will visit Khaba and a natural oasis.
- You’ll receive a warm welcome by friendly guides and healthy camels.
- You will be allotted one camel per person for a 90 minute ride within the desert.
- Stop at the dunes, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and savour the taste of delicious snacks.
- Later, sit around the bonfire and have a delicious traditional dinner.
- Sleep under the stars in a warm and a cozy bedding.
Day 2
- Next morning, wake up to a beautiful sunrise.
- Eat a healthy breakfast after sunrise.
- Enjoy a camel ride of about two and a half hours.
- Take rest under the shade, enjoy a delicious lunch & relax.
- Mount on your camel again and ride for about an hour.
- Take a jeep ride to Jaisalmer and reach back by 5:30 PM.

- Khaba Fort Khaba Fort is a ruined citadel built around the 13th century. It was the home to the kingdom of Paliwal Brahmins.

- Restrooms There are no restrooms in the desert, and you will have to pee or poop in the open desert.
- Pickup & Drop We offer free pickup and drop from the bus stand (ISBT), railway station and hotels within the Jaisalmer city.
- Shower & Rest You can take a shower a grab a little rest both before and after the camel safari at our hotel in Jaisalmer.
- Luggage Storage You can also keep your luggage safely during your safari at the locker room / store in our hotel.
