Overview

Our Overnight Camel Safari – 4B option has been designed to offer a raw experience of living the desert dream by giving you an opportunity to witness a refreshing sunrise, sunset along with a long camel ride.

This safari allows you to ride into the desert across a varied landscape ranging from rocky outcrops to majestic sand dunes. It also allows you to spend a night sleeping under the stars in a warm & cozy bedding.

Before heading back to Jaisalmer, you will be visiting the famous Khaba Fort and a serene natural oasis, which acts as the only source of water for thousands of birds & animals.


Itinerary

Day 1

  • The camel safari starts at 6:30 AM from Jaisalmer.
  • Visit a Serene Oasis and the Khaba Fort on your way to the dunes.
  • You’ll receive a warm welcome by friendly guides and healthy camels.
  • Have a delicious freshly cooked breakfast prepared by our guides.
  • Enjoy a camel ride of about two and a half hours (one person per camel).
  • Grab some rest under the shade of a tree, enjoy a delicious lunch & relax.
  • Mount on the camel again and ride for approximately two hours.
  • Stop at the dunes, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and have a delicious traditional dinner.
  • Sleep under the stars (a bed with mattress, pillow and blankets will be provided).

Day 2

  • Next morning, wake up early to a beautiful sunrise.
  • Eat a healthy freshly cooked breakfast after sunrise.
  • Enjoy the camel ride of about two and a half hours.
  • Take rest under the shade of a tree, enjoy a delicious lunch and relax.
  • Mount on the camel again and ride for approximately one hour.
  • Embark on the jeep to Jaisalmer and reach here by 5:30 PM, the next day.

  • Khaba Fort Khaba Fort is a ruined citadel built around the 13th century. It was the home to the kingdom of Paliwal Brahmins.

  • Restrooms There are no restrooms in the desert, and you will have to pee or poop in the open desert.
  • Pickup & Drop We offer free pickup and drop from the bus stand (ISBT), railway station and hotels within the Jaisalmer city.
  • Shower & Rest You can take a shower a grab a little rest both before and after the camel safari at our hotel in Jaisalmer.
  • Luggage Storage You can also keep your luggage safely during your safari at the locker room / store in our hotel.
