This meticulously designed motorbike tour takes you on a thrilling ride across the varied landscape of Jaisalmer and gives you ample of oppotunity to indulge in activities and explore some of the key iconic landmarks of the town. Some of these include: the Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, Mandir Palace, Gadisar lake, Bada Bagh, Amar Sgar Jain Temple, Kul,dhara village, Jasairi Oasis and the Sam Sand Dunes.

Itinerary

Day 1

  • You will start your thrilling motorbike tour from the Trotters Office near the Fort Gate at around 8 am, equipped with a bottle of water to keep you hydrated throughout the journey.
  • After this, you will embark on an exhilarating ride towards the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, where you'll explore the enchanting Maharaja Palace, Lakshminath Temple, Chandraprabhu Jain Temple, and the Surya Temple.
  • Then, you will ride towards the cannon point and park your motorbike near the cannon point, which will be followed by a short walk to capture breath-taking panoramic views of the city.
  • After clicking some amazing pictures here, get back on your motorbike and cruise through the vibrant streets to reach fascinating havelis. You’ll first visit the Patwon ki Haveli and then the Nathmal ki Haveli. Both are renowned for the intricate carvings and fascinating tales.
  • This will be followed by a thrilling ride to the Mandir Palace, a splendid royal residence that showcases the splendor and grandeur of Jaisalmer's former rulers.
  • After this, hop on your motorbike and ride towards the Gadisar Lake, where you will have an hour to spend some quality time. You will be served a cup of freshly brewed coffee here and then you may choose to sit here by the banks admiring the beauty, or you may consider undertaking a boat ride and a memorable horse ride (at your own expense).
  • After having a great time at the lake, you will then hop onto your bikes and head towards Bada Bagh, a serene complex adorned with majestic cenotaphs dedicated to the revered royal families of Jaisalmer.
  • Then, you will continue your ride towards Amara Sagar jain Temple, which is a wonderful architectural marvel that boasts of the rich Jain heritage.
  • After this, you will continue your expedition towards Kuldhara, an abandoned ghost village wrapped in mystery and tales of an ancient curse.
  • Next, brace yourself for an exhilarating experience as you ride towards the mesmerizing Sam Sand Dunes, where endless stretches of golden sand dunes await, offering an opportunity for thrilling desert activities and witnessing breathtaking sunsets.
  • Later, conclude this immersive motorbike tour by riding back to the Trotters Office, cherishing the memories of an unforgettable journey through the captivating landscape of Jaisalmer.

Camel Ride & Cultural Program (Optional)

Same itinerary as above (apart from the ride back to Jaisalmer), along with the things mentioned below:

  • You will be greeted on the Sam sand dunes by our friendly camel man who will help you mount on a camel for a captivating 10-minute camel ride (2 people per camel).
  • You may also choose to experience an extreme Jeep safari in the dunes (Optional at an additonal cost).
  • After this, you are free to wander on the dunes till you witness a magical sunset.
  • Post the sunset, you will ride towards the camp where you will receive a traditional welcomed with dhol, tikka & aarti.
  • You will soon be served with a welcome drink and a few snacks.
  • Then you will witness a mesmerizing traditional Rajasthani Cultural Programme (including traditional folk dance & music).
  • After the program, you may proceed towards the buffet area for dinner (pure vegetarian meals).
  • You will then ride back to Jaisalmer on your motorbike and arrive at around 10 PM.

Overnight Stay in a Desert Camp (Optional)

Same itinerary as above (apart from the ride back to Jaisalmer), along with the things mentioned below:

  • After indulging in a delectable dinner, you can unwind and retreat to your comfortable and cozy tent, where you can relax, rejuvenate, and immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of the desert surroundings.
  • Wake up to embrace the freshness of the sunrise in the desert.
  • After sunrise, you will feast on a scrumptious breakfast, fueling yourself for the adventures ahead, and cherish the final moments in the camp as you bid farewell, taking with you sweet and delightful memories of your unforgettable desert experience.
  • After breakfast, embark on a thrilling ride back to Jaisalmer on your motorbike, relishing the exhilarating journey as you cruise through the scenic landscapes of the Thar Desert. You will reach the city by around 10 AM, bringing an end to a remarkable bike tour.

  • Maharaja Palace
    Situated within the Jaisalmer Fort, the palace is a fascinating place with intricate details, captivating artifacts and architectural grandeur.
  • Lakshminath Temple
    The temple is located inside the Fort and was built in 1494. It is dedicated to the Goddess Lakshmi & her consort Lord Vishnu.
  • Chandraprabhu Jain Temple
    This temple is also inside the fort and was built in 1509. It is dedicated to the the 8th Tirthankara Jain Prophet Chandraprabhu Ji.
  • Surya Temple
    The Surya Temple is a small temple inside the fort that was built in the 16th Century and is dedicated to Lord Surya (the Sun God).
  • Patwon ki Haveli
    With a rich history dating back to the 19th century, Patwon ki Haveli stands as a testament to the opulence and architectural brilliance of the wealthy Jain traders of Jaisalmer.
  • Nathmal ki Haveli
    Built in the late 19th century by two brothers, Nathmal ki Haveli showcases a unique blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles, reflecting the craftsmanship and artistic fusion prevalent during that era.
  • Mandir Palace
    Originally a royal residence, Mandir Palace showcases exquisite Rajput architecture and offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the erstwhile rulers of the region.
  • Gadisar Lake
    This lake was built in 1156 AD by Maharaja Jaisal Singh to provide water for the inhabitants of Jaisalmer. It was later rebuilt by Maharawal Gadsi Singh around 1367 AD.
  • Bada Bagh
    This is a historic site in Jaisalmer known for its grand cenotaphs dedicated to the royal families of the past, reflecting the architectural brilliance of the bygone era.
  • Amar Sagar Jain Temple
    This jain Temple is dedicated to Lord Parshwanath, called Adeshwar Nath Jain temple and was was built in 1928 by Patwa Bafna Himmat Ram on the banks of a man-made lake.
  • Kuldhara
    Kuldhara is an abandoned village which once housed the Paliwal Brahmins. They left to save the honour of a Brahmin girl from Salim Singh.
  • Natural Oasis
    This natural oasis never dries and serves as the only source of water for the villagers and various animals.
  • Sand Dunes
    Ride, walk, dine and relax on the picturesque yet mesmerizing sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer.
  • Camel Ride
