You will be spending the first night in a nice cozy hotel with a decorated bed and the second night in a reputed desert camp which will also host a mesmerizing cultural dance & music programme.
Itinerary
Day 1
- The honeymoon in Jaisalmer tour will start at around 10 am from the Trotter’s Office.
- Here you will be served a special warm tea on arrival which will be followed by a delicious dal pakwaan.
- After having it, you will proceed towards the Jaisalmer Fort where you will visit the Maharaja Palace, which will be followed by a visit to the Lakshminath Temple, Chandraprabhu Jain Temple and the Surya Temple.
- Then you will visit the cannon point to see an antique cannon and a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
- After this, you will descend to Gopa Chowk for having the famous kachori and ghotua laddoos.
- Then you will proceed towards the Patwon ki Haveli, an archaeological marvel.
- After this, you will have bhelpuri and then continue your journey towards Nathmal ki Haveli.
- You may then choose to grab some rest at your hotel, or you may set off to explore Jaisalmer on your own till 4 pm.
- Soon, you will head towards the Gadisar lake for an enchanting boating session.
- After boating, you will be served a cup of brewed coffees adn you may then sit by the banks of the lake to enjoy a romantic sunset by the lake.
- At dusk, you may head towards an ancient Shiva temple to seek the blessings from Lord Shiva by attending the evening aarti (prayer).
- After aarti, you will head back to your hotel for a delicious dinner and to spend some quality time together on a decorated bed.
Day 2
- Next morning, freshen up, have breakfast and then you will head towards the Amar Sagar Jain Temple which is situated adjacent to the famous Amar Sagar lake.
- Then, you will continue your journey towards the Lodhruva Jain Temple, which is one of the major Jain temples in Jaisalmer.
- After Lodhruva, you will head towards the Jain Dadawadi Brahmsar, a fascinating Jain temple.
- Soon, you will be served lunch (Dal Bhati Churma, a local vegetarian delicacy).
- After this, you will head towards Khaba or Kuldhara, which are the two most popular abandoned villages of the Paliwal brahmins.
- After this, you will be visiting a natural oasis, which serves as a water source to a lot of birds, animals and local villagers.
- After this, you will head towards the Desert Camp, where you will receive a warm traditional welcome with dhol & tilak.
- Soon, you will be taken to the camel point where both of you will mount on a camel and head further into the sand dunes.
- After a decent camel ride, you will be in for an adventurous jeep safari.
- Then, you will head back towards the camp, where you will be served a welcome drink and some snacks.
- Soon, you will witness a mesmerizing dance, music & cultural programme around the bonfire.
- After the dance programme, you both will be served a wine, a cake and a delicious candle-light dinner.
- Later, you may return to your Swiss Tent or cottage to grab some rest together on a warm & cozy bed decorated with flowers.
Day 3
- Next morning, wake up to a fresh new day.
- Eat a delicious breakfast and then you will head back towards Jaisalmer with sweet unforgettable memories.
