Spending an evening by the lake is an exotic affair which everyone has on their bucket list, but spending one around a lake surrounded by greenery and ancient temples is an experience worth a lifetime.
We have carefully curated this tour to offer you a splendid experience where you get plenty of time to wander and soak in the beauty of the lake. Apart from that, you will be in for a horse ride, a tempting cup of hot or cold coffee, a 30-minute boating session and a chance to witness an enchanting aarti in an ancient temple on the banks of the lake.
The transfers to and from Gadisar Lake will be in a tuk tuk.
Itinerary
Day 1
- We will pick you from our office or your preferred destination in Jaisalmer at around 4 pm in a tuk tuk.
- Then we will head towards the Gadisar Lake.
- Here you will take a short horse ride on the banks of the lake.
- After this you will be served a hot or a cold brewed coffee.
- Then, you will go boating for around 30 minutes.
- After this, you may take pictures and spend some quality time on the banks admiring the captivating sunset.
- Soon around 7, our guide will escort you to an ancient Shiva Temple for an enchanting evening aarti.
- After this, we will drop you at your preferred location within the city.

- Gadisar Lake
This lake was built in 1156 AD by Maharaja Jaisal Singh to provide water for the inhabitants of Jaisalmer. It was later rebuilt by Maharawal Gadsi Singh around 1367 AD. - Shiva Temple, Gadisar
This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and lies on the bank of the Gadisar Lake in Jaisalmer. - Horse Ride
The horse ride will be from the Gadisar Gate till the Bhisal Mata Temple and back. - Boating
Spend some quality time boating in the lake. Your boat ride will be for 30 minutes but you can extend the duration by paying extra charges. - Transfers
You will travel to and from Gadisar Lake in a tuk tuk on private or shared basis. - Drinks & Meals
