Overview

This desert camp is the most budget-friendly option and is situated in the middle of the desert. It is ideal for those who wish to experience a camel ride and witness a traditional dance & music program.

The camp is sanitized regularly, boasts of clean & hygienic accommodation and offers pure vegetarian meals. To top it up, you will be in for a traditional welcome which will be followed by snacks and a cultural program.

Enroute the camp, you should visit Amar Sagar, Khaba Fort, Kuldhara and a natural oasis near Kanoi for a prehistoric touch. Then you may continue towards the Sam Sand Dunes for a wonderful evening.


Itinerary

Day 1

  • You will be greeted upon arrival by our friendly staff.
  • You will then mount on a camel and ride into the dunes (2 people per camel).
  • After the camel ride, sit back on the dunes and enjoy an enchanting sunset.
  • Later, come back to the camp for a traditional welcome with tikka, dhol & aarti.
  • You will soon be served with a welcome drink and a few snacks.
  • Then you will witness a mesmerizing traditional cultural program.
  • After the program, you may proceed towards the buffet area for dinner (pure vegetarian meals).
  • After dinner, you may go and relax in your cozy tent.

Day 2

  • Next morning, wake up to a fresh new day.
  • Eat a delicious breakfast and then you may check-out from the camp with sweet delightful memories.

  • Khaba Fort
    Khaba Fort is a ruined citadel built around the 13th century. It was the home to the kingdom of Paliwal Brahmins.
  • Kuldhara
    Kuldhara is an abandoned village which once housed the Paliwal Brahmins. They left to save the honour of a Brahmin girl from Salim Singh.
  • Natural Oasis
    This natural oasis never dries and serves as the only source of water for the villagers and various animals.
  • Sand Dunes
    Ride, walk, dine and relax on the picturesque yet mesmerizing sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer.
  • Camel Ride
    Embark on an enchanting camel ride through the varied landscape of the Thar Desert (one person per camel).
