Discover the essence of desert life by travelling through the Thar Desert on a camel, guided by a local. Over the course of 5 nights and 6 days, you will not only marvel at the desert's natural beauty but also immerse yourself in the authentic nomadic lifestyle.
During this adventure, you'll visit heritage sites, delve into the vibrant culture of the desert villages, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the native desert wildlife.
Moreover, you will even form a special bond with your camel companion, learning the skills of riding and caring for this remarkable creature.
Itinerary
Day 1
- The camel expedition will commence from Jaisalmer via Jeep at the scheduled time.
- Your initial halt will be for a delightful breakfast or lunch.
- Each person will have the opportunity to ride their own camel for a 2 1/2-hour excursion through the desert.
- As the day progresses, you will reach the first campsite, just in time to witness a mesmerizing sunset, which will be complemented by a serving of tea and snacks.
- While our staff prepares a traditional dinner over an open flame, you can relax on the beds arranged for the evening.
- Savor your first night in the desert beneath the starlit sky.
Day 2
- Start your day with a magnificent sunrise and a substantial breakfast.
- Return to your camel for an additional 2 1/2-hour journey deeper into the desert.
- Stop to rest, relish a hearty lunch, and take a well-deserved break for a few hours.
- Embark on the next phase of your day, resuming your camel ride for another 2 1/2 hours.
- Experience yet another riveting sunset at your second campsite with tea and snacks.

Day 5
- Start your day fifth day in the desert with another breathtaking sunrise, team in bed, and a substantial morning meal.
- Begin your first camel ride for an extended 2 1/2-hour expedition deeper into the desert.
- Take a break to relax and savor a hearty lunch, affording yourself a well-earned break of several hours.
- Resume your camel ride for an additional 2 1/2 hours, moving towards your final sunset.
- Enjoy tea and light refreshments when you reach your final campsite.
- Enjoy the freshly cooked dinner and get ready for your last night in the desert.
Day 6
- Enjoy a revitalizing bed tea to start your day, followed by relishing a freshly prepared breakfast while watching the sunrise.
- During your trip back to Jaisalmer, discover a serene oasis and the renowned Khaba Fort.

- Jeep Ride Enjoy the jeep ride from Jaisalmer to the sand dunes and then back to Jaisalmer.
- Khaba Fort Khaba Fort is a ruined citadel built around the 13th century. It was the home to the kingdom of Paliwal Brahmins.

- Shower & Rest You can take a shower a grab a little rest both before and after the camel safari at our hotel in Jaisalmer.
- Luggage Storage You can also keep your luggage safely during your safari at the locker room / store in our hotel.
