Our one day camel safari starts at around 6:30 in the morning and ends at around 9:30 pm on the very same day.
Overview
Our One Day Camel Safari has been designed to offer an enhanced desert experience of witnessing a mesmerizing sunrise and a captivating sunset without the need to spend a night in the desert.
This safari allows you to go on a day trip to the desert, have lunch and come back by late evening with a small, yet delightful experience of the desert life.
Before heading to the dunes, you will be visiting a small village in the Thar and this village will also mark the beginning of your camel ride in the desert.
Itinerary
Day 1
- The camel safari starts at around 6:30 in the morning.
- You’ll receive a warm welcome by friendly guides and healthy camels.
- Have a delicious freshly cooked breakfast prepared by our guides.
- Enjoy a camel ride of about two and a half hours into the desert (one camel per person).
- Take rest under the shade, enjoy a delicious lunch and relax.
- Mount on the camel again and ride for approximately two hours.
- Stop at the dunes, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and have a delicious traditional dinner.
- You will reach back in Jaisalmer by 9:30 pm on the same day.

- Pickup & Drop We offer free pickup and drop from the bus stand (ISBT), railway station and hotels within the Jaisalmer city.
- Shower & Rest You can take a shower a grab a little rest both before and after the camel safari at our hotel in Jaisalmer.
- Luggage Storage You can also keep your luggage safely during your safari at the locker room / store in our hotel.
