Itinerary
Day 1
- You will start your cycling tour from the Trotters Office near the Fort Gate at around 8 am and you will be given a bottle of water on your arrival.
- You will then pedal towards the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort to see the Maharaja Palace, Lakshminath Temple, Chandraprabhu Jain Temple and the Surya Temple.
- Then you will park your bicycles near the cannon point and visit it on foot as its not possible to pedal up the stairs.
- After clicking some amazing panoramic picyures at the canon point, you will then hop on to your bicyles and cycle through the vibrant streets and visit the ornate Havelis, such as the Patwon ki Haveli and Nathmal ki Haveli which are adorned with exquisite carvings and fascinating stories.
- After this,you will continue your journey to the Mandir Palace, a royal residence that showcases the opulence and grandeur of Jaisalmer's erstwhile rulers.
- We will take a small break here and you will be served tender coconut water to freshen up.
- Then, you will head towards the legendary Vyas Chattri, a place of tribute dedicated to the revered sage Vyas.
- After this, you will pedal your way to the serene Gadisar Lake, where you can relax by the banks, or undertake boating and a horse ride (at your own expense).
- Later, you will conculde your cycling tour by pedaling your way back to the Trotters Office, where you will be served a tender coconut to refresh yourself.

The temple is located inside the Fort and was built in 1494. It is dedicated to the Goddess Lakshmi & her consort Lord Vishnu. - Chandraprabhu Jain Temple
This temple is also inside the fort and was built in 1509. It is dedicated to the the 8th Tirthankara Jain Prophet Chandraprabhu Ji. - Surya Temple
The Surya Temple is a small temple inside the fort that was built in the 16th Century and is dedicated to Lord Surya (the Sun God). - Patwon ki Haveli
With a rich history dating back to the 19th century, Patwon ki Haveli stands as a testament to the opulence and architectural brilliance of the wealthy Jain traders of Jaisalmer. - Nathmal ki Haveli
Built in the late 19th century by two brothers, Nathmal ki Haveli showcases a unique blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles, reflecting the craftsmanship and artistic fusion prevalent during that era. - Mandir Palace
Originally a royal residence, Mandir Palace showcases exquisite Rajput architecture and offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the erstwhile rulers of the region. - Vyas Chattri
Vyas Chhatri, a cenotaph dedicated to the sage Vyasa, is a magnificent architectural structure adorned with intricate carvings, serving as a peaceful tribute to the revered figure from Hindu mythology. - Gadisar Lake
This lake was built in 1156 AD by Maharaja Jaisal Singh to provide water for the inhabitants of Jaisalmer. It was later rebuilt by Maharawal Gadsi Singh around 1367 AD. - Cycle Ride
